As most modern windscreens are bonded into position removing an existing one in one piece would be a challenge to say the least and then there would be the cost of the new bonding agent into the bargain. Further still fitting your own second hand screen may infringe the terms of your insurance policy.
It may be worth having a windscreen chip repairer have a look at it first as its probaly the cheapest option
