Megane CC door drop and Shocks

My CC driver door has dropped probbaly been like it since I bought it, but noticed it on Sunday whilst polishing door jambs.
at the hindge end it is ok all lines up, but at the lock end just before it engages with the lock it is about 6mm low, when it closes it lifts it so it is about 3/4mm low, door shuts ok but I do wonder for how long as it must be quite close to the bottom for the door opening before the lock lifts it, I have looked at the hindge area and there are no lose bolts, no bends in any bodywork, but I do get a slight leak from the driver window up by the roof seal now i know why as the door is siting a few mill low.
I was wondering if I should use a block of wood under the open door and jack up the car via the open door carefully to try and bring it back in line (did it once to an Escort XR3i) despirite measure I know, so wondered if any better idea first.
Also SHOCKS, both my wife and I get really bad static shocks of this car, the wife gets a few of her Renault Coupe but I don't apart from when it has been polished I get one or two then but after its 1st wash I am ok but the CC shocks us constantly to the point now we both brush a hand quickly past the door before touching it fully to close now, because they hurt, the only other car that shocked me often was a Fiat Mirafuri T cam, back when I was 18 (many years ago) but even they where little ones more of an anoyance than pain, this CC shocked me that bad last night my index finger was throbing for 5 mins after, I know some people are prone to this, my wife has had shocks in varying levels from all of my cars, but for both of us to cop this at equal ferocity is quite strange, what is even more strange, we hired on of these last year for 2 weeks on holiday not a single shock. neither of us how weired is that!
