Erm, no it's not! It is, however, one of the first collaborations between Reanult and Nissan, although it would appear that more input has come from the Renault (or French) side than Nissan.
Renault was in charge of designing the new diesel engine.
Would definietely agree though, that a high mileage in a short time is not a problem if the car has been serviced properly. Much better than buying a several year old low mileage example.
