Hello and welcome to the forum.
As long as the locks haven't ever been changed and the key is original,the door locks may just be seized up.It might be worth spraying some penetrating
into the locks to see if that has an effect.You may need to carry this out a few times but it does work.In more extreme cases you'll have to remove the locks and free up the tumblers that follow the shape of the key in the lock though.
I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
