Hi there new here but wouldlike any advice anyone can give I hope this is the right place to ask.
I am thinking of buying a Vel Satis I have driven it & love it it is the 2.2 diesel auto leather etc.
I want it as an everyday car shopping etc any idea what MPG they actually do I have seen loads of different MPG quoted.
How reliable are these cars again lots of reviews with lots of loves & hates I have nevre had anything with everything so auto what about the card thing is that OK?
I have seen on the Prakers site tyres are £600 but the garage who has it for sale is replacing one at £60 should I worry?
I know its lots of questions but anything you could tell mem would be great.
Thanks for any help or advice I need a car to get me to my elderly parents daily so do not want something unreliable.
Hi i drive the vel satis 3.5 v6 petrol model and have done for the last 4 years its a good all round car and reliable the card system is good, tyers must be extra load 100 not 96 as the car is near 2 ton so needs good tyers.Auto box is good hill starts are very easy as their is no roll back it holds on the brakes automatic.lights are the best you can have on any car, brakes are very good, heater system is very warm on winter mornings, music system is very good too,the main thing is to make sure the battery is in tip top condition with it being auto as it will not start if it go"s flat.I use a solar panel to top up the battery when its on my drive at home i just clip it on the battery and leave the panel on the car roof they can be bought at maplin for £7.99 and they do a great job and it cost you nothing, hope this helps you out gareth.
