RX4 vibrations - prop shaft

Had my 52 RX4 shaft renovated by 'renault specialists' in lancs. Pick up and deliver back to local fitter 2 days. about 400. Bearing noise prompted the action.
Now however am getting drumming/vibration noises. interested to read latest posts on vibration dampers. Looked under and couldnt see what or where these are on the shaft. Any clues for a dummy? Am having car on ramp Monday to look see; if earleir post is right then will try and get these removed and see if that helps.
The 'renault specialists' said that best option if off-road not needed is to remove the prop and save on the fuel--seems drastic to me but was assured that '100s' had been so dealt with .
Any advice gratefully re'c'd -
