Thankfully madnoel10 is wrong, my local garage reset my "Parking Brake Fault" on my 04 Scenic 1.5 dCi using his SNAP-ON TOOLS diagnostic kit, cost me the price of a "drink" only took him 30 secs to do - well chuffed.
( I too had replaced my battery which led to the fault being displayed in the first place )
