2000 Scenic Fuse blowing / immobiliser problem ?

Please help ! I have a 2000 Scenic 1.6 16v. Yesterday while travelling to the inlaws started to notice a very slight burning smell. Put it down to the CAT as evrything else was ok and exhaust has a slight hole in backbox. Got to my destination, car still running ok, when STOP, immobiliser and oil light came on on the dash. No indicators nor windscreen wipers worked, but hazard lights did. Went into shop and on return car wouldn't start. Had to call RAC out who finally put it down to fuse 19. This is a 15 amp fuse which, when it was replaced worked. On the way home last night it happened again, same lights on dash, so didn't stop until i got home. Could anyone please shed some light as to why this keeps happening ? Thanx.
