We have had various issues with my wife's 2003 Clio 1.2 16v Dynamique all connected with the
cover chafing through the wiring loom. It has been manageable by keeping the connectors and the sockets in the
cleaned out. However, two of the pins in the
have now broken off as they were too corroded. I have had a good look at the loom and I reckon that I can fix it and stop any further corrosion coming from the loom.
My question is - if we obtain another
is it just a "simple" case of replacing the broken one with the replacement or would we need to get the replacement
recoded in any way. If we would need to get it recoded, any idea (roughly) of the cost of this and would I need to go to a dealer to get this done. I have had enough of the local dealerships palming us off with excuses!
