Talking VS News

Just thought I would mention a couple of VS related things - I have posted a couple of pics today of my VS 3.0 dci Initiale - it has the German ELIA Bodykit fitted ( no doubt at great expense by a previous owner ) - makes the car look even more outlandish than standard ( I like outlandish things ), and consists of front and rear spoilers plus the side sills finished in bodycolour. Does anyone know if these were a Renault option ? there is another VS that is for sale at an Essex dealer with this kit on - a 3.5 petrol in red.
Mine also has a stainless steel exhaust sytem with twin exiting rear pipes - again I can only assume was fitted by a previous owner.
One problem I have currently is that I have a current drain which flattens the battery over a few days - a week will kill it off. I was translating part of a french Renault technical bulletin which suggested that the fault could be with the instrument panel - they use some CD Software to try and upgrade the instrument panel, and if this fails to upgrade, it says to fit a new instrument panel. Has anyone experience of a similar fault ?
