The main thing is that you're getting the cambelt changed (which is costly) and you've got 6 months decent warranty on the car. I would urge you to extend this though, as it will pay for itself as soon as something complex (like air con etc) goes wrong.
Best advice to a diesel owner is to get it serviced regularly, I would say every 9-12k (not 18k as the service book may say) as the Dci (particularly on the 1.9dci engine) has a tendancy to eat
. But that is down to not being serviced regularly enough.
