i had enough this morning when i got back from work i decided to take out the starter what a stupid idea anyway i bridge the starter and it started every single time so i know the starter moter is definatley good.
i took out the battery off disconnected all the wires underneith the battery was two plugs next to the
i unplugged them cleaned them and plugged them back in seems so be working on the button now god knows how long for

The most common cause of problems like this on cars fitted with a manual box is either the clutch or gear position switches. Try this ...
Put the key card all the way in the slot - you should hear the steering lock disengage and the immobiliser light should go off.
Look for the white light on the start button. This will be illuminated when the car is enabled to start. If it isn't then you can't start. Try pressing the clutch and moving the gears.
