The answer to your question is a resounding YES and YES from me
Minuses - Only other downsides to owning a car with an engine that size is access to minor engine parts which could lead to big bills. For instance, my 3.0v6 Laguna, I once had, needed the spark plugs changing....front three fine, rear three, Renault quoted me over £900 to change them
. I got them done by a decent independant for £105 in the end but you see my point.
However, I don't think it matters what size engine's in an Espace, access is always gonna be difficult because of the seating of the engine.
Pluses - 0-60mph in 7.8 seconds and in a huge MPV
