Sorry that more help hasn't been forth coming for you Stephen. Most members try their hardest to answer queries or point people in the right direction but obviously this can only been done if the problem has been broached and indeed resolved before.
Basically, I would assume a sunroof/panoramic roof that has ceased working could only be down to one of three things which are either a blown fuse, a broken wire or a siezed motor. This is purely my unprofessional assumption
If you can establish that all fuses are ok, can see if power is getting to the motor then it could only be a siezed motor!
Hopefully mhallberg can shed some light on the subject after his auto sparkies visit next week
