Electric window problem!

My old post got a bit long and confusing so I thought I would start a new thread!

Basically my passenger electric window fuse keeps blowing, also the driver's switch for the passenger's electric window is the wrong way round (up is down and down is up!).

I have replaced the fuse many times but it keeps blowing, I have also tried a different driver's side switch but the controls are still the wrong way round (up is down and down is up!).

I have also looked at the wiring between the door and the car under the rubber seal and all that looks fine!

So my questions are...

Why does it keep blowing a fuse? Is it short circuiting somewhere? How could I find out where?

And why is the driver's side switch the wrong way round? I thought it might have been plugged in the wrong way but the plugs to the dor and the switch only fit in one way!

Any help would be great!
