Intermitent E/W Fault Scenic 2004

Hi all.

I am new to the forum and have just introduced myself in the newbies section.

We have recently purchased a privately owned 2004 1.6vvt scenic which has developed a number of electrical faults.

First up is the Electrical window fault, this is an intermittent fault which has occured four times in the last two weeks after first starting the car in the morning, all 4 electrical windows will only move a couple of inches at a time despite fully depressing the switch, meaning you have to repeatedly push the switch for the window to open or close it, this happens regardless of the engine running or not.

The fault has rectified itself on both occasions after 15 minutes of driving, my initial thought was the battery was maybe not holding a good charge, but have found this not to be the case since replacing it.

Can anyone offer some advice?

Many thanks.
