if your only doing 6 miles a day plus weekend driving why go diesel, on average your paying a grand more on book price per model and now diesel is more expensive that petrol, they recon 18000 miles a year for a diesel to pay for it'self and they are a lot more agro
Why is it that everyone assumes that people drive diesels for the fuel economy
Personally i drive a diesel because i prefer the torque to be low in the rev range where i can use it in everyday driving.
Around the north west most places sell diesl for 1p per litre more than petrol and at some it's the same price.
