out today and cleaned all the terminals on it and the multi plugs also cleaned the
all good for about a mile and half and back to gimp mode.
I have the same problem with my scenic 2.0 16V Automatic. Left hand drive.
Mine has an electronic throttle. "Drive by wire"
The cable from the acceleration pedal is going into an electronic device with a connector to a loom which goes to the
. (which probable measures the pedal's position and informs the
, which in its turn gives a command to the throttle).
This device is located under the bonnet on the driver's side right next to a very large connector (similar to the
its connector to the loom (to the
) has a little metallic wire which locks it into its position.
I disconnected the battery, took out the small metallic wire, disconnected the connector and sprayed a lot of contact spray on both sides. Connected it again and the warning lamp was off.
Now 4 days after it is still off.
Maybe this helps.
