Welvome to the forum Isaac,
99% of the time all the
Sensor needs is to be taken out, cleaned and the connectors cleaned then replaced, I have done this twice with mine and it works normally for about 3 years which is the same time as a new one lasts before it gets dirty again.
A faulty or dirty TDC Sensor does not usually show up on the diagnostic tests.
Hi there - Please could you give me clue where the
sensor would be?
My wife has a 1.5dci with cold start issues, and I'm wondering if this could be our issue...
I've changed the glow-plugs but no difference. Can take 10 or more pushes of the button, and coaxing it it will start to run. Once alive it behaves itself - no faultering on hills or excessive smoke - so not lead to believe is the pump or injectors.
I'm wondering if air is seeping in somewhere? Or someone else suggested relays? I wouldn't know where to start with which relays to change!?!
