I cannot see the point of this sort of equipment, they are an unnecasary weight and taking up space in the boot and to work properly they must be maintaned, ie charged regularly.
Car batteries are very reliable now and usually give some warning before they expire and any sensible motorist will belong to one of the rescue organisations.
