If the instrument cluster is "Jaeger" there is no BII unit in this car so the mileage is standalone instrument panel only.
- if it is not written "Jaeger" it is BII unit in the passenger footwell and both are storing the mileage - duplicating highest mileage once connected and ign on, a non reversible event (!).
If there is a BII unit, all signals such as petrol level, speed signal (from gearbox or ABS depending on year), engine faults and other statuses, faults and warnings are managed by the BII unit and then forwarded to the instrument cluster by 2 wire CAN-bus data line.
