The whole point with keys and immobilisers is that you cannot start the car unless you use the correct key - electrical that is -as you can always use a big screwdriver but that wont help. So when you use a key from another vehicle even if it fits mechanically the car wont accept its electronic code and denies it from starting...
Second hand keys cannot be reprogrammed to your car - and your car cannot be reprogrammed to second hand keys
Get the correct chip and electronics for the remote transferred into the "new" key and unless your mechanic broke something else it will work just fine. If something is broken you have to get someone that knows this car to get it sorted before even more damage is made.
If you are unable to switch chips you either have to consult an auto locksmith or order new ignition lock (if you cannot extract the old blade) and key(s) from Renault.
