Split this issue in 2 possibilities
- make sure that it is not because of the wrong key being used ! The correct key MUST be within range of the ignition lock when turning ignition, and no other key is allowed in that area as it will interfer.
- If not, the aerial might have been broken during replacement of new lock - these are not coded so you can use one of a scrapped car if you prefer so. Make sure connections are okay.
Only way to check if the aerial is picking up a (the) key is to read out states with suitable diagnostic equippment.
