If you have the type of roof strips that permit the special Renault bars to fit, you will have 3 sliding latched covers in each one (one for the front bar and choice of 2 positions for the rear one) - press the cover down where indicated and slide it back. If you just have a plain rubber strip running from front to back, you will need to buy the type of bars that fit "gutterless" cars. NB the special Renault bars have an aerodynamic profile and you will almost certainly need the special (expensive) Renault adaptors to fit anything to them; To fit 2 bike racks, for instance, I had to buy 2 sets of these adapters (4 per set and I needed 3 for each bike rack). The best bike racks to fit, because of the need to adjust the fixings to the Renault adapters) were Halford's cheapest ones, which were less expensive than the adapters!
