I resolved the problem by cutting 2 small circular self adhesive felt pads out and sticking them over the sensors. Doors and bonnet are alarmed anyway so dont need sensors. It also means that if say at a petrol garage and yiu wanna lock the kids in the car for safety you can without alarm going off (if they cant play "statues" long enough that is !
Got the idea from elsewhere from helpful guys on the site, and it was originally done with bluetack, but the felt pads loook a whole lot better ! In fact they l;ook like original kit!
If you do this, just ensure you inform your insurance company.
It is pretty easy to replace the sensors.
