A method I've just thought on - would this work?
Presuming the bolt isn't cross-threaded, could a good bolt be wouldn into the hole, and tightened up to the point where its pushing the remains of the broken bolt out the other end of the hub?
I realise the risk is that too much torque is used, and the good bolt gets snapped also.
If only it were that simple. The broken bit would need to rotate and another bolt just wouldn't have sufficient grip to turn it.
