Thanks for the info but I'm curious, what are the odds on both earths failing independantly? The fact that both lights were inoperable made me think they used a common earth lead.
I ran the temp earth from the earth point on the bulk head just in front of the drivers side wheel arch behind the headlamp and down over, is that one of the earth points you're referring to?
