My battery on a now very RIP 88 Renault 21 passed away without any prior warning, during an hot summers day (that must have been a long time ago.)
I'd travelled approx 185 miles with no problems after staying at a travel Lodge overnight I went to start the car the following morning, all I got was click, the AA confirmed on arrival that the battery was extremely RIP. TBH I couldn't believe it, after Gawd knows how many years driving I'd done this was the first car battery I'd had that died during summer
Can batteries just die so I need to buy a new one?
it had done 9 years of service though.
Currently in hondo's garage:
1.6 Valve-Matic SR. Red hot, toasty feet.
