With due respect, I did not write 114'000km service. I wrote 140'000km.
In my New Vehicle Warranty & Service Manual on page 12 to 13, service intervals start at 20'000km (12'427 miles) and onwards every 20'000km with the last service km tally is given as 200'000km or 124'274 miles.
My car has been given its 140'000km (74'565 miles) service last week.
Thank you for your kind reply.
Nice to read that you have had a long history with Renaults.
On the Service question, I doubt there is an easy answer from this end.
If you have not already got a proper detailed Invoice with all the parts listed from the Garage then ask for one.
If you have one already, read the Renault Service booklet, it should list the service structure and set out in detail additional operations required at specified mileages.
Check the parts used on your service invoice and cross reference those required against the Service booklet.
For what you have had done:-
Cambelt (Was that a full kit)?
Disc Pads all round
Have they used Genuine Renault Parts?
I think the UK £ equivalent is about right.
But that's UK prices.
I guess labour is cheaper in your part of the world.
It would be interesting to know the parts prices in SA.
