I'm sure that Renault are not happy about it, but the point is that it is their problem, not the consumer. If a componant should last a reasonable time, then the supplier needs to be able to demonstrate their abilty to provide such. As I have said before, we are not talking about a wear and tear part here.

Maybe it is a result of having a supplier policy of 'lowest bidder wins'.

No need to apologise for me not having a Scenic II, it seems I'm not missing anything!
