we all have a view point and we are all sure we are right most of the time, but there is no need in insulting or insinuating a lack of knowledge at other RF members because their view differs from yours.
First may I say that I have not intended to be insulting or insinuous. My comment about not understanding my logic was meant to simply say that I was being misunderstood. I am not saying that all electrical items should last forever and went on to qualify that.
This exchange is about what should be expected by consumers, instigated by Renaults somewhat retrospective offer to only charge £100 to replace an item which in many peoples view, should not have failed.
We all have different views, it's just that obviously mine is the right one.
