you cant do that. renault head units will not play mp3 cds. its a copyright thing, or so my dealer said...
Have you tried it? It's not unheard of for Renault Dealers not to have a clue about things like this. The on-line spec for the 2010 edition Laguna certainly says it plays MP3s.
The copyright issue is total cobblers. The L2 Phase 2 that I have at the moment reads MP3s and I know other models in the range do too. If Renualt were likely to be in trouble for putting an MP3 player in their cars, then wouldn't someone have sued Apple for the iPod by now?
Just burn out some MP3 albums onto a CD-R or CD-RW (mine happily reads both, though some players can be flaky on RW discs.) It's only going to cost you a few pence for a disc and a few minutes of your time to try it.
