Thanks for the quick replies. The car had previously been sitting in a garage for about 2 years til I got it. It passed its MOT almost three weeks ago before I got it, I've done about 600 miles since then in it.
I'm leaving it up to my mechanic to replace them, but I will get the pair done if that is what the problem is. I'm just guessing by looking from the bonnet that it looks like its the shocker. The offside is slightly higher up than the drivers side??
Its so annoying, the bloke had the timing belt done for me and the brake pads and discs before I bought it and we thought that the car would be fine for a while after that. All he recommended was an
change and sparks done soon.
