Hello keith, you dont actually say which engine your talking about .... on the Clio2 there are usually 2 senders/sensors .... one on the RHS end of the head, and the other at/near the throttle body .... I'm sure the one on the head is for the temp guage and the other is for the fuel injection ECU and over heat warning light ..... sorry cant be more specific without the engine size or type.
