Still waiting for the ("make me UN-happy" people to pull thier finger out and fix my car!)

i am pulling my hair out about getting it sorted.
managed to chase the initial mechanical quote (parts only) which comes to 1700inc (+500inc labour) or so, (2200 total) which is about the initial cost of the basic car!

so i have hunted down (nearly)all the parts needed:
(new bits) and NONE are dealership supplied!

42.07 - NSF shock top mount kit
17.50 - antiroll bar linkages (pair)
16.95 - NSR main axle Bush

40.49 - front shock
44.24 - rear shock
31.62 - front spring
36.43 - lower arm (inc ball joint)
13.01 - NS trackrod end
15.74 - NS track arm

nearly new parts

65.00 - Steering rack (possibly with subframe+50?)
30.00 - NS driveshaft
35.00 - NS hub
100.00 - x2 Silverstone Alloy wheels (inc pressure sensors)
120.00 - x2 Khumo 17"XL tyres
20.00 - Rear Disc/bearing
370.00 ish'

alloys will probably need straightening @ 25.00 each

800 total for parts or so

cars ODBC2 error log needs downloading and printing off then clearing.
wheel pressure sensors need reprogramming.

engine needs Timeing checks/compression check with possible new timeing belt/aux belt change. it doesnt sound right, slightly clicky
and car needs full geometry checks and possibly shims and camber bolts to correct alignment. (if it doesnt need the chassis rejigging)

garage has fitting costs listed at about 400.00
no idea what the body shop will charge for refitting the boot and rear bumper.

all prices not inc. vat!

so hacked off im ready to get the bits on the CreditCard and dump the lot in the cars boot and let them get on with it!
(and hope they pay me back by cheque at the end of the month for all the reciepted parts )
Currently in mord's garage:
The CreditCard Holes sooo DEEEEP NASA have put up warning signs about a black hole on the Driveway: update, the driveway and home have fallen in...
