Keycards ok Through Airport Security & Next to Mobiles?

Forgive me if I sound like a complete fool asking this question, but modern Renaults are so complex particularly when it comes to their electronic components, that I've always wondered the following:

What kind of things can interfere with the slot-in keycards? When I say interfere, I'm not talking about cloning and security, but rather, damage them?

- Airport security scanner machines?
- Putting keycard next to a mobile phone?
- Placing keycard on top of a hi-fi speaker (magnetic)

I've never taken my Vel Satis key card through an airport before and don't want to come home from holiday to discover that we're stranded at the airport as the security scanners etc have somehow affected the electronics of the keycard!
