You would make a much more reliable repair by replacing the terminal complete with a short piece of cable, then splicing into the loom by soldering and covering with heat shrink sleeve.
Suitable terminal release tools are required to get the existing terminal out of the housing. See this post on OnSmart forum
for details. Mercedes Benz sells various repair terminals complete with short pieces of cable for a small fee.
