Tyre press monitors AND brakes ?

Hi , just got a tyre changed , trouble free - after reading the many posts on this subject here at the forum it seemed that a lot of peoples troubles started because of sensors corroding/ sticking into the valves so I just WD40 ,d the valve body 24 hrs before and they came out no trouble down at the tyreshop.
While the wheel was off I got a good look at my pads ....5mm or maybe less , So I was planning to change them - it all appears pretty straight forwards in the haines , but I just wondered if anyone out there in forumland new of any thing that I should look out for, or any tips when it comes to changing brake pads on these paticular models. forewarned is forarmed - thanx in advanx
