Hi,double check the abs rings on the driveshaft to see if there is any cracks, also check to see if the same ring is on that driveshaft compared to the other wheel ie same number of teeth, also check to see if same size tyre and wheel is fitted to that side of car, what does code 59 mean as I have not heard of it before.
On my code reading machine, it supplies the DTC code 59 with definition: drivers front wheel speed senser.
I am pretty happy that sensor mounting and pick up ring are all satisfactory. I will have another look.
If chipped teeth, would expect the fault to appear straight away, ring and teeth shouldnt change as they original and road wheel and tyres are same.
I can understand a cracked ring given probs at high speed as it opens up with centrifugal focre.
A couple of posts here mention lose rings, is this common ??
