All done now after much cursing.
The drivers side was reasonably easy (ish).
To do the passengers side, I had to resort to removing the wheel.
I did try removing the bottom bolt on the mud flap but there just was not enough room for me.
I would expect the next time I have to do it, it will be easier, but I can definitely say that this will be my last Renault car.
What a stupid design. I can only assume it was deliberate to get more work for Renault garages.
In all, proabably took me a little over an hour.
I have lots of cuts and abrasions around my wrists
No springs on my Megane, just push in as far as I could see.
