To retro-fit to factory spec, you'll need a model with the higher spec dash for starters - the one with the iconic display for 'fuel low etc.' This doubles as the speed display for the cruise and limiter.

Then you'll need to swap the steering wheel for the one with the cruise control buttons, and add the cruise/limiter switch to the dash control panel.

Finally, you'll at least need to swap out the accelerator pedal (the limiter function uses a special pedal with a resistance point at 50% travel.) You might need to swap the brake pedal switches too.

I'm sure it's possible, but doubt that it's practical using anything other than second-hand components from a scrap vehicle. And forget DIY - changing the steering wheel means messing with the airbag, and that alone calls for outside help.

An after-fit system won't be as tidy, and won't give you the 'limiter' function, but on the whole, I think it's the only viable option.
