The missus works for a small haulage business and this effects them a great deal. Small to medium sized business is now the main stay of the British economy and they seem to get heavily penalised on fuel. I'd support a tiered system that allows businesses reliant on road transport to pay less tax. There are companies who are no longer able to keep a full compliment of vehicles on the road - they are literally laying people off because they can't pay the increase in fuel
