renault parts rip off

well, i have to agree, im sure most renault owners feel the same, yesterday i had to replace the auxillary drive belt on my f3r scenic, Renault agent wanted $85.50, and $50.0 to fit it, i went to Supercheap Autos the local Bosch agent, out of stock, but priced at $38.30, i went to Repco, the Gates agent, and got 1 for $45.50, it was gates code 6PK1660, 1660mm long, price was half that of Renault, and i fitted it in less than half an hour, all i needed was a 7mm allen key, and a crescent spanner, so how do they justify those sort of prices, 6 months ago i broke a rear shock absorber, the garage got a second hand renault one for $130.0,(half new price) i later found the price of 2 new Munroes were $120.0 brand new.for a pair.
Currently in petercee's garage:
