Thumbs up

Thanks Freddybabe for your reply.

You mentioning control module led me to a site called there i found a possible fix and a way to get the window back up.

Here is the URL

To get the window back up

The procedure to get the window up is 1. disconnect the battery (earth terminal) 2. reconnect the battery 3. press the deadlock on the remote. The window will go up a couple of inches. Repeat till the window is all the way up.

To fix the contol module??
direct quote from the website
"Its well documented that its water ingress that causes this to malfunction. I flooded it with WD40 and left it on a radiator overnight. Put it back on in the morning and it functioned fine. Bought some self amalgamating tape and wrapped the unit up in that to prevent further water ingress and then put the door back together again.

I do like zero cost repairs."

So I have now got the window back - thank god as it is ¤¤¤¤ing it down with rain. And at the weekend I will try the WD40 fix. I'll let you know how I got on
