Renault 1.5 DCi
The 1.5 diesels seem more reliable than the 1.9s,but make sure the timing belt has been changed,as its due after 5 years,or 72000 miles,whichever soonest.
It's quite an expensive and complicated job,so you need to make sure.
There's a lot of them about so they seem as reliable as most modern cars,with a lot of electronics.
