ahh the fun cable removal trick.

you will need to pop the side retaining pins on the fuse box out, once they are out the fuse box can be shifted enough to allow a 10mm socket on a ratchet with 2-3" extension to ge the difficult bolt out.

and yes you may need to undo the side bolts that hold the dash, just so you can move the dash an inch or two.

have fun with the upside down contortion trick to get a good view under the dash....

hanging your feet over the back of the seats is the fun bit, or lying in the footwell whilst hanging out the door is the other.
i really hope its not raining when you do it.

i've done it at least twice so far on the laggy1

i've even still got a new spare bonnet release cable/handle in a box (if anyones interested in it)
