Hooray I have done it
Spent about an hour this morning replaceing my bonnet cable and locks.
Found the easiest way for me was to remove the trim below the steering wheel that covers the fuses and managed to gain access to the bolt. Top tip if you are going to do this, tie some string to the end of the old cable before you pull it back through the car. That way you can tie the string to the new cable and pull it back through.
