if the crossmember that is corroded is the black one that the rad sits on you dont need to worry. it is an easy job well within the scope of the average diy mechanic. if i remember correctly from when i owned a laguna it is only held on with 2 or 3 bolts either side. i cannot remember if there is also a fixed crossmember but if there is, depending on the extent of the corrosion you may be able to plate the corrosion. i would be able to tell you more if you could upload me a good photo of the corrosion and the crossmember in question. you should be able to pick up a good second hand crossmember fairly cheaply as there are plenty of them in the breakers.
