Well, at least I now know that it's definitely the wrong part. Radiator support panel sounds about right (and it's very corroded). The wording on the MOT though refers to nearside brake valve being insecurely mounted. I checked the ABS pump thing and it's _very_ securely mounted... I don't think it's even attached to the radiator support panel.. Oh well. Off to the Renault dealership I go tomorrow to see if I can exchange it. I hope they don't notice the couple of scratches. They can't guarantee it wasn't themselves anyway, as it didn't come in any sort of cover/bag, and they just had it propped up against the wall when I went to collect it

BTW, I haven't done my heater matrix yet, but I got it in the post today. 18, not bad :D
