Re: Reliability of a new Grand Scenic

I've not got the Grand Scenic but I've got an '01 Scenic I in Authentique and a '54 Scenic II in Dynamique form in our house. The Scenic II is my work horse and the Scenic I Ph2 is the better halfs for dragging our 2 Collies and a Pointer about in. Personally I prefer the Scenic I to drive and its honestly got the better load space but neither have given us any major problems in the years we've owned them. The S2 has had the digital display replaced recently due to failure and it regularly pops the OSF head lamp bulb but i'm not gonna slate the model for that and its not failed an MOT since having it from 8 months old either.

Just look for a good, tidy example thats had belts, filters & fluids changed on time. I'd also avoid any version with beige cloth interior like the plague as it marks very easily... not a good thing if you're gonna have small kids using it as a climbing frame
